Privacy Policy for Benosso Add-Ons

This Privacy Policy describes what data Benosso Add-Ons (“the App”) accesses, why, and how it is handled. The App is installed by a Wix store owner (“the Merchant”) to sell paid product options (gift wrap, engraving, custom notes) on their own store. Provider: Benosso İnternet Yazılım İthalat İhracat Ticaret ve Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. (“Benosso”), a company registered in Türkiye (tax no. 1640774681), benosso.com, support@benosso.com.

1. Data the App accesses

From the Merchant’s Wix site, only to provide its function:

Product catalogue data — product ids, names and their option definitions. Used to show the Merchant’s add-ons on the right products and to write them into the store’s own product options.
Cart and checkout line items — the options a shopper selected and the quantity. Used only to calculate the correct add-on fee at checkout.
App settings — the Merchant’s option sets (groups, choices, prices), stored in the site’s own Wix CMS collection.

The App does not read shopper names, addresses, emails, payment details, or order history. It does not build any shopper profile.

2. How data is used

To display the Merchant’s paid options on their product pages.
To add the correct fee to the cart when a shopper picks an option.

The App has no analytics of its own on shopper behaviour and does not use any of this data for marketing.

3. Where data is stored

Option sets live in the Merchant’s own site (Wix CMS collection) and stay with the site. Cart data is read at the moment of the fee calculation and is not stored by the App.

4. Retention and deletion

Option sets are removed when the App is uninstalled, or earlier on request. Requests: support@benosso.com — actioned within 30 days.

No customer data is shared with any third party. The App has no external data processor.
