1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Benosso Telegram Notifier (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use our application on your Wix site.

By installing and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you install and use Benosso Telegram Notifier, we collect and process the following information:

2.1 Site Information

Wix Site ID
Site owner contact email (for support purposes)
Site name and address
Install, uninstall and subscription events (plan, period, cancellation)
Non-personal usage counters (aggregate numbers only)
Optional answer to an uninstall/cancellation survey (a reason code and optional free text)

Benosso İnternet Yazılım İthalat İhracat Ticaret ve Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. (“Benosso”) is the data controller for this site-owner data.

2.2 Order Information

When an order is placed on your Wix site, we process:

Order ID and order number
Order items (product names, quantities, prices)
Order total amount and currency
Customer name and order delivery/pickup details
Order timestamp

2.3 Telegram Configuration

Telegram Chat ID provided by you during setup
Telegram Bot Token (stored securely)

We do not collect or store payment information, credit card details, or sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary to deliver order notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

To send real-time order notifications to your configured Telegram chat
To provide, maintain, and improve the App’s functionality
To respond to your support requests
To comply with legal obligations
To monitor installation, usage and operational health of the App; to help site owners whose setup is stuck and to send them service notices; and, through the optional survey, to improve the product. These emails are service notices, not marketing, and every email contains a one-click option to stop receiving them.

Legal basis for the site-owner data: performance of the contract and Benosso’s legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f; for GDPR purposes, Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

We share order information with Telegram Bot API (operated by Telegram Messenger Inc.) for the sole purpose of delivering notifications to your chosen Telegram chat. Telegram’s privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at https://telegram.org/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

The site-owner data described in section 2.1 is shared only with the service providers needed to run it: Resend (email delivery) and Vercel and Neon (hosting and database). Vercel and Neon may process data outside Türkiye; such transfers are made in line with KVKK Art. 9 and applicable safeguards.

5. Data Storage and Security

Order data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers
Configuration data (Telegram Chat ID, Site ID) is stored securely using Wix’s encrypted data infrastructure
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access

6. Data Retention

Configuration data is retained as long as the App is installed on your site
When you uninstall the App, all your configuration data is deleted within 30 days
Order notification data is not persistently stored
Site-owner data (section 2.1): the email address is stored encrypted and is deleted no later than 30 days after uninstall, or as soon as the survey is submitted. The site name and address are deleted 12 months after uninstall. Free-text survey answers are deleted 13 months after they are submitted.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Uninstall the App at any time, which will remove your data from our systems
Contact us with any privacy-related concerns

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
